The Idea Behind GAHF
GAHF was born to address the gap of availability of high end audiophile speakers at honest pricing. The mass market produced speakers lack the tonality and linearity which the boutique speaker manufacturers with impeccably engineered, designed, measured and tested speakers bring.
However, these speakers are often priced out of our reach, and only the serious listener who can afford high end pricing then have the opportunity to listen to real music, the way it is intended to be. In today's world of slim and light, and cutting costs, several offerings in the market do not produce the desired music experience.
Presenting, genuine audiophile speakers built using high end drive units from the better brands, with no compromise in the quality of enclosure, showing impeccable measurements, and sounding just the way our ears and brain love. What Makes GAHF Speakers Different
Well matched high fidelity drive units from Peerless, Celestion, Dayton, VIFA, Scanspeak, Morel, etc.
The best built enclosures using composite materials, mdf, real teakwood, granite, and aluminium in simple, curved, sandwich and composite models. GAHF speakers do not compromise on the build quality of the enclosure aiming to achieve minimum resonance.
Tuning: Each speaker is tuned till we get the Klippel/REW measurement right. Speakers which do not meet our stringent tuning criteria are discarded. The circuitry: Pure Class AB amplifiers with minimum stages and minimum feedback loop ensures the purest music. When you mate such an amplifier with our speakers, only the best music flows out.
The crossover: All our speakers come with multiple binding posts, one set for each driver, allowing you to use more than one amplifier, to run the signal through an active crossover and produce the best sound each driver is capable of. Our passive crossovers are minimal affair first or second order crossovers, ensuring least interference of the components between the amplifier and the speaker.
The finish: Presenting a range of finishes, from automotive paints, to pure wooden enclosures, to hand polished veneers- we have the finish only seen on very expensive speakers- those which blend into the décor in your home, and are a sight to feast on before they are fired, after which pure blissful music flows into your space.
Great Tonality and Linear Response
Great acoustics and high fidelity can only come through well engineered speakers which are extensively tuned and measured again and again, so every unit comes to you in great tonality and a full range of spinorama measurements. Our 3 way and 4 way speakers have all a tonality above 6, and a flat frequency response at less than +/- 5 dB on the logarithmic scale, with the 4 way curved towers and high end towers reaching to less than +/- 3dB. Now these are speakers which can stir emotions, 10 minutes into your listening session.
All our ¾ way speakers have published graphs based on spinorama measurement tests. To further enhance your listening experience, we would tune some of our high end offering into your space, so that it is not the estimated response you hear from anechoic chambers, but the real response as you would hear in your space.
A Single Speaker to Produce the Entire Audible Spectrum
Our full range speakers use only the best Scanspeak/Mark Audio/Peerless 4” or 3” driver to bring to you the cleanest possible sound without using any crossover components. For several audiophiles, the preferred music comes out of a full range driver, at a low wattage. For unblemished audio experience, nothing beats a full range driver in a matched enclosure listened to
moderate levels.
For such discerning audiophile listeners, we have created a range of enclosures using the best crafted full range speakers, in sealed, ported, transmission line, and folded horn formats. Each of them impeccably finished in polished real wood/veneer or in high finish automotive paints.
